A Grandmother's Last Goodbye

The feeling I had when my grandma passed away was not a pleasant one, but I was also not too sad. I understood that she was in a lot of pain, and her last moments with us as a family—it was like she knew it was her time to go.

Just one week after our interactions with all our family members who flew in to see her, she passed. I reminisce from time to time during holidays when we would spend time together and play cards. My grandpa is still alive and talks about her when we visit.

Those memories keep her present in our lives, even though she's gone.
